Haywood - Josephine

Mrs. Josephine Haywood, wife of Curt Haywood and living at the time of her death at Elston, near Lafayette was buried at the New Richmond cemetery last Sunday at 12 o’clock. She died last Thursday and the funeral services were held in the ME Church at this place, conducted by Rev. Smith. Mrs. Haywood’s maiden name was Kincaid and she lived near this place nearly all her life. The funeral procession was over a half mile long and was attended by a large number of people from a distance. She had a host of friends at this place and her husband, who was well known here has the sympathy of all who know him. - kbz
